Two Things

1) 8 years later...Success!

2) I have recently had the notion that there are still good men out there reaffirmed. Good to know. One day I will find one for myself. Until then I will definitely enjoy all of my friends.

There's Always Hope

"Hope is both the earliest and the most indispensable virtue inherent in the state of being alive. If life is to be sustained hope must remain, even where confidence is wounded, trust impaired."

Give Them Hope

Sigh

Missing my kids already. It's going to be a long 3 days. This house is quiet.

Still Hopeful

Connor's appointment was good. He needs to put on a bit of weight but counts were fine. Kyla came down with strep but is recovering. Cameron is now on his annual dose of Cipro so hopefully he will feel better soon.

It is what it is so I am going to make the best of it. All of it.

2010!!!!!

IT'S HERE! 2010! New Year, New Beginnings, New Adventures, New People, NEW NEW NEW!!! For the shopper in all of us, who doesn't LOVE "NEW" stuff!?

I had a GREAT time in Colorado. The view from my bedroom at my friend's house was nothing short of AMAZING! His family was fabulous(is fabulous I suppose would be a better way to put it). The hot tub was FABULOUS(but they usually are, right?). It was a very nice getaway. Very relaxing and stress free. But I missed my babies terribly and was very glad to get back to them and get them home. I got to hear their voices while I was gone but it isn't the same as the hugs and kisses at the same time. Plus my bed was lonely without the little feet poking me in the back :)

Connor has his 6 month check up on Wednesday. Of course I am sure that everything will be fine but as is usual, I have the anxiety about it. It didn't help that he came up to me in the library and showed me a huge bruise on his arm and says he doesn't know how it got there. UGH! The joy of being a cancer mom. At any rate, as long as this visit is okay then starting in July he only has to go up for blood work once a year. This will make him very happy as he is not very happy about ruining his perfect attendance record for the year. How lucky am I that I have kids who are unhappy when they have to miss school?

Kyla and Cameron are hanging in there. Cameron is not happy about the bitter cold as it cuts into his "real" play time. Kyla therefore isn't happy about it because she does most everything he does. We have been playing a lot of our Boston Red Sox Jenga, Disney Villain Monopoly, Princess Checkers, Princess Bingo, and more. Fun!

So back to the daily grind as of today. I am totally ok with this as I LOVE my class. I missed my 20 cherubs over break!

Aaron, missing and remembering you always.
Scott, praying for you and your family. Please stay safe.

Cheers!
